The Atlanta Crackers were a minor league baseball team that played in the Southern Association from 1901 to 1961. During that period they won 17 league pennants and were often referred to as the ⁰́₋Yankees of the Minors⁰́₊ due to their record as the team that won the most games in the association. Maurice (or William) Myers was the manager of at least two teams in the Southern Michigan League, Jackson (1906) and Kalamazoo (1907). He also worked for the Norris Collar Company of Detroit where he managed their independent baseball team.
